BONCOURA（ボンクラ）
30年代のスポーツジャケットをベースに、ARCHのリクエストによって製作されたBONCOURAのスペシャルモデル。
ホースレザーと、前身頃に配したホースヘアーをブラックで統一することで、遠目にはすっきりとした印象に。
一方で、近くで見ると素材の迫力や陰影が際立ち、他にはない存在感を放ちます。
30年代のエレガントな佇まいを残しながら、着丈やシルエットは現代で着やすいバランスへと再構築。
BONCOURAのフィルターを通すことで、無骨さの中にも品のある一着に仕上げられています。
素材には、しなやかで繊維の詰まったトップクオリティの馬革を使用。茶芯にすることにより、使い込んでいくと表面の色がフェードし、さながらデニムのようにアタリが出てきます。
裏地には、レザージャケット用に製作された肉厚のキュプラを採用。
ポケット裏にはBONCOURAオリジナルのフランネルチェック地を使用し、見えない部分にまで妥協のないものづくりを感じられます。
長く着込み、自分だけの表情へと育てていきたい、BONCOURAらしい、一切の妥協がないモノづくりから生まれた素晴らしいレザージャケットです。

素材と向き合うものづくり
A special BONCOURA model created at the request of ARCH, based on a 1930s sports jacket.
By unifying the horse leather and the horsehair used on the front body in black, the jacket gives a clean and refined impression from a distance. Up close, however, the depth, texture, and shadow of the materials stand out, creating a presence unlike any other.
While retaining the elegant character of the 1930s original, the length and silhouette have been reconstructed into a balance that is easier to wear today. Through BONCOURA’s unique perspective, the jacket is finished with a sense of refinement within its ruggedness.
The material is top-quality horse leather, supple yet densely structured. The leather has a brown core, so as it is worn over time, the surface color will gradually fade, developing unique wear marks much like denim.
The lining is made from a thick cupro fabric specially developed for leather jackets. The pocket bags are made with BONCOURA’s original flannel check fabric, allowing you to feel the brand’s uncompromising approach even in the parts that are not visible.
A truly exceptional leather jacket born from BONCOURA’s uncompromising craftsmanship—one to wear for many years and develop into a piece with a character all your own.
